Raven Chronicles Anthology Launch
Raven Chronicles will launch their second anthology of work, selected from the work they published from 1991 to 2018: This Light Called Darkness, A Raven Chronicles Anthology, Selected Work 1997-2005. The anthology contains the work of 85 writers and 34 artists. Tonight's reading will include both editors and contributors.
Kathleen Alcalá is the co-editor of Weeping Women: La Llorona’s Presence in Modern Latinx and Chicanx Lore, and a member of the Ópata Nation. Phoebe Bosché is a cultural activist, and has been managing editor of The Raven Chronicles literary organization/Raven Chronicles Press since 1991. Paul Hunter’s autobiography in prose poetry, Clownery, appeared in 2017, and two western novels, Sit a Tall Horse and Mr. Brick & the Boys, were published in 2020 and 2022. Anna Odessa Linzer’s novel, Ghost Dancing, published by Picador USA of St. Martin’s Press, received an American Book Award in 1999.
