Random Weave Basketry Workshop
Join us for this 6-hour workshop with KC fiber artist Becky Stevens, and leave with your very own woven basket! Your finished piece can be sculptural or utilitarian. We’ll use basket reed which is a forgiving material to begin with and minimal tools. After you’ve mastered the basics you can easily apply them to foraged materials. No basket weaving experience is required. All required materials are provided, except your eye for the beauty in chaos. (but feel free to bring your own pruners and an old towel)
