Empowered Abilities Celebrates 30 Years of Service with
Anniversary Gala
CICERO, Ind. — Empowered Abilities, formerly Mephibosheth Ministries, will celebrate 30
years of serving individuals with disabilities in Central Indiana with its 30th Anniversary
Raising to Empower Gala & Silent Auction on Saturday, September 26, 2026.
The evening will be held from 5:30–9:00 p.m. at The Remnant in Arcadia, and will bring
together community members, supporters, families, and local businesses to celebrate
three decades of service while helping build opportunities for the future.
For 30 years, Empowered Abilities has worked to create meaningful opportunities for
individuals with disabilities through residential services, day and evening programs, camp
experiences, community involvement, and supportive relationships.
Funds raised through the gala will help strengthen these programs and provide resources
that allow participants to experience greater connection, independence, and involvement
in their communities.
The evening will include dinner, a silent auction, celebration of Empowered Abilities’
history, and opportunities to support its continuing mission.
