The Racine Area Veterans Incorporation (RAVI), will be hosting their first Racine Veterans Support Expo on Saturday May 28 at Memorial Hall, 72 Seventh St in downtown Racine, from 10am-3pm. National anthem will take place at 11 a.m, then the Mayor will give his proclamation followed by open mic session at 12:30 p.m. This free event will take place on Memorial Day weekend as a way to support Veterans, their families and support systems. It will include networking, over 30 vendors and break out seminar sessions providing valuable information to Veterans, Military members and families, regarding support, assistance with veteran benefits, education, employment, food, housing, recreation and more. There will also be employers on site actively recruiting to employ Veterans. A social event featuring a live performance by Cheryl McCrary (former Mrs. Wisconsin Royalty International), will follow from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Food and beverages will be available.
