Q.U.I.L.T.S. of Schenectady November Membership Meeting
Q.U.I.L.T.S. (Quilters United in Learning Together, Schenectady) will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the First Reformed Church of Scotia, 224 N. Ballston Ave, Scotia, NY. Sewing will start at 6:15 PM with a brief business meeting at 7:00 PM. This is the annual Straight from the Heart Kids’ Quilts sew-in for quilts donated to Northern Rivers Family Services. Starting this year, the guild will also be sending quilts to the Schenectady County Child Advocacy Center and Things of My Very Own. In addition to sewing quilt tops, members will also be pressing, cutting fabric for quilt kits, machine quilting, and making binding until 9:00 PM. Show and Tell is not scheduled for this evening.
