Pueblo Pottery Artist Demonstrations Day
Taking place in Chaco Rooms 1 and 2, Pueblo artists will discuss the ways that their work in clay is grounded in community, places of home, storytelling, and local-to-global influences. The artists will show some of the steps of their creative process with audience participation. Tickets are available as a Sunday Day Pass that includes attendance to Pueblo Pottery Artist Demonstrations (11:00am-1:00pm) and the museum (9:00am-5:00pm). This program is supported by the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, the Terra Foundation for American Art, and the First Nations Development Institute. Light refreshments will be served. Two-day and three-day passes are also available for the Pueblo Pottery Arts Celebration & Gathering Weekend (July 11-13).
