Public Interest Law Auction
On behalf of U of SC Joseph F. Rice School of Law's Public Interest Law Society and Phi Delta Phi student organizations, we invite you to attend the annual Public Interest Law Auction on January 19, 2024, 7:00–10:00 pm at Seibels House and Garden (1601 Richland St, Columbia, SC 29201). This cocktail event is masquerade-themed and will have live music, hors d' oeuvres, and an open wine and beer bar! Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Jeffcoat Public Interest Fellowship and Public Interest Bar Grant programs, which provide grants to deserving students who devote their law school careers to unpaid public service legal work in traditionally underserved communities. Silent bidding starts at 8:00 am on January 12 and ends at 9:30 pm on January 19. Some fantastic items up for bidding include a 2-night stay at a Seabrook Island condo, golfing experiences in Columbia and Charleston, U.S. National Whitewater Center passes, Total Wine wine classes for 20 people, and more! Bidding is open to everyone, but we would love to see you all at the main event!
