Following close behind them are the Las Vegas Smash (ranked no. 3) and the Flowrida GOATS (ranked no. 4) who were both finalists in Miami along with the Arkansas Matrix, New York Atlantics, and Toronto Polar Bears who captured third and fourth place finishes. Those teams looking to make a strong comeback in San Diego in August and secure a spot in the PPL Cup include the hometown team and hosts, the San Diego Stingrays, the Cancun Waves, and the Houston Volts.
