Private Home Garden Tour benefiting Shriners Children's
Shriners Children’s Northern California is profoundly grateful to Huei Young for the financial support her garden tours raise for our comprehensive cerebral palsy program. Community support is incredibly vital to our success. Every child that would benefit from our specialized pediatric healthcare is admitted for treatment, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.
Tours of the garden include a city garden adjacent to Huei’s home and conclude in her backyard which is an oasis of Asian-themed design. The garden is designed with and informed by Feng Shui principals. Plants are always fresh and rotate thanks to the generosity of area nurseries and a corps of dedicated volunteers. Light refreshments are provided for the tours. Free street parking is available in the neighborhood. All proceeds from the event benefit the comprehensive cerebral palsy program at the hospital.
Huei's garden is only open for private tours and this is a rare opportunity to learn the garden's history, enjoy its beauty and ask questions about gardening. We welcome everyone to tour Huei’s Garden.
