Printmaking
Printmaking is the process of transferring images from on surface onto another. In this class learn the relief and monoprint methods to create your own unique prints. Students get to create their own images based on an image or sketch that inspires them. They will carve the image onto a linocut block to create a series of colorful prints. Students can work large or small and will create a layered final piece. Throughout the class we will be printing with multiple items using various techniques. Come have fun in this wonderful class to experiment in printing and drawing! Class will take place Wednesdays, April 5 through April 26 and is taught by Maggie Stewart. All supplies provided!
