Pride & Joy LGBTQIA+ Book Club: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

Pride & Joy Book Club is a space for queer & trans adults to enjoy good books and community together. We will read and discuss a wide range of fiction that reflects LGBTQIA+ experiences. We celebrate that though historically they were often erased, queer & trans stories have always existed, everywhere. We will meet on the third Thursday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m., with an initial meeting on Thursday, October 17th and meetings in full swing starting in January 2025.
For our first meeting, we will discuss bestseller The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins-Reid, available for checkout at in physical or eBook form from NLR library. Plot summaries and key passages will be available at every meeting for any folks who need a memory aid (or any folks who are tagging along but didn't have time to read-- don't be afraid!).
Meetings will be held at Flyway Brewing in Argenta. FYI, though it's known for beer, Flyway has soda and lemonade as well as a great food selection! Sober folks are welcome in this space.
