Preparing For Disasters: Protecting Archives & Artifacts from Fire & Water Damage
Join speaker Samantha Lawerence, Archivist with the Rochester Hill Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will explore planning for safe care and preservation of 2 and 3 dimensional artifacts before water and fire damage occurs. What storage options should be available? What supplies should be on hand? Will you need special assistance or long-term needs?
While designed for historical sites, there are questions also faced by businesses and homeowners, too. This will help you develop a plan before the need arises.
