PR Council to focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) at its 2025 kickoff luncheon Meeting


Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the role it is playing in shaping society is dominating boardrooms and headlines. The Public Relations Council of Greater Atlantic City’s luncheon meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 28, will explore how AI—particularly Generative AI—is transforming the public relations landscape with a PowerPoint presentation by Stockton University’s Dr. Suya Yin. The luncheon runs 11:45 a.m. - 1:45 p.m. at Stockton’s Atlantic City Campus in the Fannie Lou Hamer Room. In what is emerging as a new field, Dr. Yin, Associate Professor of Communication Studies, who joined Stockton’s faculty in 2004. will provide insights into AI’s implications for communication professionals and real-life applications they can use in their work. The cost for the luncheon, which is open to the public, is $45 for members and $60 for non-members with a reservation. Walk-ins are charged an additional $5. About Our Speaker: Dr. Yin is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Journalism and Mass Communications with a master’s degree in journalism and mass communications and a doctoral degree in Mass Communications. She also has a Ph.D. minor in Marketing from the UW-Madison School of Business. Prior to her career in the United States, Dr. Yin was an Associate Professor of English at the School of International Studies of the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in Beijing, China. Dr. Yin has a master’s degree in English language and Literature from that university.
