Post-Pandemic Strategies: Helping Your Preschool Children Thrive


How do we raise children born during the pandemic years so they will thrive in a post-pandemic environment? That's a question that most parents with babies born between 2020 and 2022 have right now. And that's a question that Little Nestlings Early Learning Center aims to address in its upcoming class, titled "Post-Pandemic Strategies: Helping Your Preschool Children Thrive." This in-person parenting class will be held at the Little Nestlings campus at 19200 Willamette Drive in West Linn on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 6:00 PM. Certified Parenting Coach Joan Johnson of Sprout and Bloom shares her insights from her 20-year career as a licensed pediatric occupational therapist in this class. Here, you will learn: The unique challenges of parenting in a post-pandemic environment The benefits of complementing your parenting with preschool enrollment How to find the right preschool to support your child's early education Doors will open at 5:30 PM to allow parents time to settle in. She has worked in early intervention, community-based settings, pediatric specialty hospital care, and outpatient settings with children with special healthcare needs. A Certified Parenting Coach and certified in Emotional Intelligence, Joan owns a pediatric therapy clinic in Salem and Albany and does private parent coaching to help families reduce overwhelm.
