Popcorn Comedy with Jason Cordova (HBO)
You're invited to Popcorn Comedy: an intimate standup comedy experience in the Somerville Theatre's 30-seat microcinema! Our comedians have been featured on HBO, Amazon Prime, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, The Second City, Don't Tell Comedy, and the New York Comedy Festival.
This month's headliner is the hilarious Jason Cordova. Known for his hard-hitting jokes and brutal honesty, Jason has appeared on HBO's "Pause with Sam Jay" and performed at legendary comedy clubs like The Stand, Gotham Comedy Club, the Comedy Connection, and Foxwoods.
Doors open at 7:00pm and the show starts at 7:30pm.
Come early to watch classic cartoons on the big screen.
Grab candy, popcorn, and fountain drinks at the theater's snack bar or bring your own!
Outside food and drink are allowed in the microcinema (aside from alcohol).
Beer and wine are available in the lobby.
Opened in 1914, the historic Somerville Theatre is conveniently located right next to the Davis Square T stop on the Red Line. Parking is available nearby. The microcinema is located in the basement of the theater. We can't wait to get things popping at the show!
