This is more than just a theme — it’s a throwback to the golden age of pop punk and emo, performed LIVE by Tucson’s own Pop Up Rebellion. No DJs, no playlists, no backing tracks — just raw, high-energy anthems played by a band of seasoned local musicians who know exactly how to bring these songs to life.
🎸 THE BAND
Pop Up Rebellion is Tucson’s live pop punk and emo tribute band, created by longtime local musicians Brett Dooley and Travis Owens, joined by guitar prodigy Allen El and powerhouse drummer Greg Ashbaugh. Together, they bring decades of experience, big energy, and a deep love for the music that raised us all. This isn’t a cover band that goes through the motions — this is a live show that brings the emotional firepower these songs deserve.
