Poetry Workshop: The Last Word is Not a Word
The Last Word is Not a Word is a workshop lead by the Chicago-based micropress "Millstone," (@millstone.mag) and will explore the possibilities of how to write towards endings that open up a poem rather than close it. The workshop will feature a discussion of the readings of Chicago poet Eve Ewing "Jump/Rope" and experimental poet Tracie Morris "I.C.E. Children" followed by a writing prompt and readings of work created in the space. Please bring something to write with!

Millstone is a micropress and art collective cofounded by Christie Valentin-Bati and Noah Zanella. Every third Thursday of the month, Millstone puts on the variety show and all-genres open mic called The Mill. The Mill happens every third Thursday of the month and raises money for local Chicago charity.
