Plan Wilson Public Meeting
Wilson County leadership has announced an upcoming public meeting to present the draft of Plan Wilson, a future land use plan that will guide growth, conservation, and infrastructure investments across the county.
County officials will host the meeting on Thursday, September 25, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Cumberland University Alumni Hall. The event will include a presentation of the draft plan, interactive displays, and opportunities for attendees to share feedback before the plan is finalized.
The draft plan includes a vision statement, goals, and objectives; proposed place types and land use categories; transportation recommendations; and a roadmap for implementation. The September 25 meeting is one of the final steps before the plan is presented to the Wilson County Planning Commission and Board of Commissioners for adoption.
