Piano hinge books are so named because their hinged spines look like the long hinges on the instrument lid. Dowels hold this no sew, no glue multiple signature book together. Weaving the sticks through the signatures creates a distinctive woven look on the spine. Teaching Artist: Laura Chenault of Laurel Tree Bindery This class is geared towards beginners and seasoned bookmakers alike – we welcome makers of all skill levels. Join us! Things to note: • Makers of all skill levels are welcome.
