PHILADELPHIA MAGAZINE’S PHILLY COOKS™ IS GETTING FRESH!
Four days of unprecedented access to the best of Philadelphia’s culinary scene
Philadelphia magazine’s Philly Cooks™ has turned into a week-long celebration of Philadelphia’s top kitchens and culinary masters. The first-ever Philly Cooks Week, consisting of tasting tours and the big event, will be held February 25th-28th at select locations throughout the city.
TASTING TOURS | FEBRUARY 25th-27th
Various Philadelphia Restaurants
Experience Philadelphia’s restaurant scene in a whole new way with our tasting tours. Each tour, held in a distinct Philadelphia neighborhood, will bring guests behind the scenes at three different restaurants. For example, on our South Street tour, you’ll make and sample deviled eggs with chef Mitch Prensky at Supper, get a tour of the big red smokers at Percy Street and make your own bbq sandwiches, then chef Jeremy Nolen will walk you through all of the types of German sausages at Brauhaus Schmitz, complemented by some Deutschland ales. Other chefs like Jose Garces, Marc Vetri, and Eli Kulp will participate. Ticket prices vary and seating is limited.
