Jessica has been the driving force behind Nectome’s mission of bringing breakthrough neuroscience into real-world impact. She first joined Nectome in 2018 as Chief of Staff and, through her vision and leadership, became CEO in 2025. Before Nectome, Jessica was the founder of Chroma AI and Adaptive Medical Systems, ventures focused on solving complex technical challenges in cybersecurity, machine learning, and emerging medical fields. Today, Jessica leads a multidisciplinary team exploring the frontier of neuroscience, longevity, and technology.
 Nectome’s work focuses on how the brain physically encodes memory and how advanced preservation techniquescan safeguard those physical traces for the future. Memorial for Douglas Baldwin This month, we also take time to honor the memory of Douglas Baldwin, our beloved Audio Visual Technical Director. Doug was a member of the Church of Perpetual Life from its very beginning, and he dedicated countless hours behind the scenes to ensure our services and events were beautifully recorded and shared. His quiet dedication, skill, and generosity made him an essential part of our community. A few months ago, Doug entered cryonic biostasis with the Cryonics Institute. Today, we remember his life, his contributions, and the spirit of service he brought to the COPL family. Let us hold him in gratitude and remembrance as we honor his legacy.
