The Philadelphia Zoo is celebrating Penguin Awareness throughout the weekend Saturday January 19th and Sunday January 20th. (Penguin Awareness Day in on Jan 20th) This is a special time to enjoy these adorable tuxedo-clad birds learn more about them and pledge to protect their vulnerable existence. Guests dressed in their penguin best or carrying their favorite stuffed penguin toy will receive a special discounted admission price of $10. Guests can also watch as keepers give them special treats at 12:00 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
