Peggy is inspired by her lifelong love of books and her outrage over the banning of books in classrooms and libraries across the country. Peggy uses classical paintings involving readers and books as source material which she transforms into mixed-media embroidery pieces. Peggy's work has been part of The Tiny Pricks Project as well as The Violet Protest in nation-wide exhibitions.
