About this event:
This hybrid session, offered both in person as well as via Zoom. Marketing doesn't have to feel overwhelming or expensive. This workshop is designed for artists and creative businesses who want to build a strong brand foundation and learn practical marketing strategies without stretching their budget. Together, we'll explore your brand beyond your logo, how to tell your story in a way that connects with the right audience, and simple ways to share your work consistently. You'll walk through exercises to define your "why," identify your target audience, and develop brand messaging that reflects your unique creative style. By the end, you'll leave with a clear brand voice and actionable steps to grow your audience and market with confidence so you can focus on creating your art without burning out.
Peer-to-Peer Sessions is a free and accessible (mostly) online series geared to enrich, educate, and connect creatives through a series of workshops and training sessions. New Bedford is the home of artists, creatives, change makers, designers, entrepreneurs and community enthusiasts and the Peer-to-Peer Sessions embraces the pulse that makes New Bedford so unique while expanding our knowledge and connections.
Funding for this initiative is provided by the City of New Bedford, Arts, Culture and Tourism Fund. Additional support comes from the Barr Foundation and Bristol County Savings Bank, and by the New Bedford Economic Development Council, which receives support in part from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. Peer-to-Peer Sessions is one component of a larger initiative to support arts-based economic development.
