PBR Gambler Days Tailgate Party
Omni Austin Hotel Downtown is thrilled to host a PBR Tailgate Party at its full-scale restaurant, Capital A, from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, August 23. The hotel welcomes guests and locals alike to enjoy food, drinks and live music ahead of PBR Gambler Days weekend presented by Tecovas at Moody Center. This event is a continuation of Omni Austin’s Tailgate Party Series, offering visitors the perfect hangout to socialize and mingle before a concert or night out, right in the heart of Austin’s bustling entertainment district.
Capital A will offer PBR-themed cocktails in fun boot cups such as Cowboy Lemonade, made with Pendelton whiskey, basil lemonade and ripe guava fruit, as well as the 8 Seconds, made with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s own Teremana small-batch tequila, Cointreau triple sec liqueur, lime and agave. Complimentary appetizers will include the Cowboy Nod, a dish featuring charred shishito peppers, corn and cilantro topped with a fresh miso and lime vinaigrette, and the Flank Strap, a BBQ chicken flatbread with cilantro pesto, spicy jack cheese, crispy onions and sea salt.
To further highlight Texas’s music and unique rodeo culture, the party will also feature live country music, a banner and festive décor for guests to take photos, and giveaways for a chance to win a free cowboy hat or PBR t-shirt.
This event is open to the public, and reservations are not required.
