Paul Edelstein: Through the Years
Born in Marion, KY, and raised in Memphis, Edelstein is a graduate of Christian Brothers University and The University of Memphis. He also studied privately under the esteemed Marjorie Liebman. Over the years, his vibrant and expressive work has earned widespread recognition, with appearances in the major motion picture The Firm and features in designer magazines such as Elle. His murals, which include works for “Waltz on the Square” in Oxford, MS, “Cafe Eclectic” in Memphis, and a 30-foot mural at Shady Grove Presbyterian Church, have become iconic fixtures in the region.
Edelstein’s paintings, known for their rich texture and dynamic color palettes, grace homes and galleries from Oxford, Mississippi to Damascus, Syria. However, some of his most celebrated pieces can be found right here in Memphis, in both private collections and public spaces. His work continues to grow in popularity and is highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
This exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience Edelstein’s artistic journey and witness the evolution of his style and technique over the decades.
So please join us for the opening of this exceptional exhibition at ANF on Friday, October 25th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Admission is FREE, and guests can enjoy complimentary soft drinks, wine, and snacks. All pieces will be available for purchase via cash, check, or Venmo. If you are unable to attend the opening, the exhibition will be open for viewing at ANF on weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from October 25 - November 22, 2024.
