    11/11/2023 09:00 AM 11/11/2023 01:00 PM America/Atikokan Patriotic Art Competition All Ellis County high school students are eligible to compete in a Patriotic Art Competition from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at the pocket park in downtown Waxahachie. The required theme is "USA/Honoring Veterans." Artists provide their own supplies and choose from watercolor, charcoal, oil or sculpture. Prizes include $400 in scholarships.
