Patriot Art Foundation hosts Art of Valor - Veterans Painting Event At the National Museum US Army
The Patriot Art Foundation will be providing on-site watercolor and FREE art supplies as well as broadcasting on our website, in partnership with The Army Historical Foundation will host their Annual Veteran’s Day Art of Valor at the National Museum of the United States Army at Fort Belvoir, Virginia and will be simulcast on our website www.patriotartfoundation.org. The Patriot Art Foundation will be hosting a free Veteran’s watercolor workshop to celebrate Veterans Day. The event will occur on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 10AM – 2PM. World-renowned artist, Mary Whyte will give a live painting demonstration that will be broadcast from the main stage of the USS Yorktown from 1 – 2 PM EST. This demonstration will be simulcast to the National Museum of the United States Army, the Patriot Art Foundation website, Facebook Page, and YouTube channel. Those participating from home are encouraged to paint along with Mary and submit photos of their art by using the hashtag, #ArtofValor in their social media posts. Participating veterans must register in advance through the Patriot Art Foundation, [email protected]. The in person site is limited to 30 veterans of all artistic skill levels. All art materials and lunch will be supplied at no cost to participating veterans.
