Pathways of History - Morris County Historic Sites: Richardson History House – Oct. 5
Mount Tabor’s Richardson History House joins 30 other small Morris County historic sites on tour! Step back in time to tour our Victorian-era cottage museum and the community’s large, impressive octagonal Tabernacle within these former camp meeting grounds. Open for visitors on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 12 to 5 p.m. Explore local history at this fun, FREE, and family-friendly event! Plan your route and bring a friend.
Guided walking tours of Trinity Park will be held at 2 pm and 4 pm.
Learn about the founding of Mount Tabor as a Methodist Camp Ground and examine the whimsical gingerbread architectural gems surrounding the park.
History Display. Next door to the museum, visit the Bethel Pavilion to see a display on the history of the community and the historic preservation work process at the museum. Souvenir merchandise is available to share a memento of your visit. Refreshments may be available.
