Jane Penfield is offering a session of Pastel Painting Online - you can participate from anywhere!

This is an online class for serious students who want to develop skill with the medium of soft pastel. Instruction includes a weekly tutorial, individual feedback and critique, and a weekly Zoom session on Tuesdays from 1:00–2:30pm EST/EDT, where the class can discuss topics and share with each other. All levels are welcome, and you can participate from anywhere.
This class will help you develop confidence with the pastel medium, including building a strong composition, understanding values, creating light and shadow, developing color harmony, and bringing your subject to life through deliberate and expressive mark making. Various underpainting techniques will be introduced. All levels of experience are welcome.
