ParktoberFest Oct. 4 in Centreville, VA – Live Music, Brews & Family Fun
The “just right” fall festival is back! Join the Ellanor C. Lawrence Park (ECLP) Friends for the fifth annual ParktoberFest on Sat., Oct. 4, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Ellanor C. Lawrence Park in Centreville. The festival takes place on the lawn of the historic Middlegate House beside Cabell’s Mill, located at 5235 Walney Road.
ParktoberFest is a free community celebration of food, friends and festivities that celebrates the park. This year’s highlights include:
Live Music: Performances by The Walkaways, Lucas Mason and newcomer Georgia Rae Braun
Craft Brews: Cold pours from local favorite Ono Brewery
Delicious Eats: Food trucks Burgorilla and TacoOne
Local Shopping: Artisans, makers, bakers and specialty vendors
Family Fun: Tours of the new Woodlands Stewardship Education Center and the kid-friendly STREAM Loop
Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket and relax on the lawn while enjoying live music, great food and a day in the park with family and friends.
Parking & Transportation: Free parking is available at the Woodlands Stewardship Education Center, the lot beside Walney Pond, and the Walney Visitor Center (with a short trail walk to Cabell’s Mill). Walking and biking to the site are especially encouraged.

ParktoberFest is organized and sponsored by the nonprofit Ellanor C. Lawrence Park Friends, whose mission is to support the park and the Woodlands with programs, events, fundraising and community activities—including the Friends Field Trip Scholarship Program, Park n’ Bark, Parkemon and more.
