PARKER WOODLAND In-Store Performance & Record Signing
Formed at the intersection of Parker Ln & Woodland Ave in Austin five years ago, Parker Woodland emerged from Erin Walter's deep commitment to community and social justice. The indie pop meets psych-rock trio, proudly unveils their first full-length album There's No Such Thing as Time, coming out Friday, September. 6th via Flak Records. This meticulously made album expresses the band’s musical evolution over the years, taking their punk edge and mixing in a high-energy sound you can feel as you listen to each emotionally charged anthem written for the modern world. It explores the intricacies of love in the context of different apocalyptic worlds and the balance between a dream state and the reality of everyday life. The indie pop, psych-rock trio will play a Waterloo Records in-store the day of the release and a special release show later that same evening at The Mohawk ft. Tim Kile formerly of Arcade Fire, Jammy Violet of Pelvis Wrestley and Christian Kyle of Schatzi.
