Parallel Realms: A Night of Sci-Fi Shorts
Enter into an evening of locally written/performed sci-fi themed short plays!
Each performance will have 3 plays featured for the audience with no intermission.
The nights and shorts are as follows:
Show 1 - August 1st @ 7:30pm and August 3rd @ 7:30pm
"Limbo Cafe" Written and Directed by Jason Burke
Description: A distressed woman seeks refuge from a storm in the nearly deserted limbo cafe, run by the mysterious Lacy Malone.
"Memory Lane" Written by Edward Kunz/ Directed by Alyssa Marchbank
Description: A young man named Oliver struggles with his direction in life and fate graduating.
"Fly me to the Moon" Written by Caroline Lapinski/ Directed by Jeramie Welch
Description: The play follows Reed a rocket scientist as they cope with their partner Oakley’s impending death by deciding to fulfill Oakley's wish to have their ashes scattered on the moon.

"Attack of the Puppet People" Written by Michael McGovern/ Directed by Eli Plummer
Description: Vince becomes obsessed with the idea that space puppets are trying to take over the world.
"Friends Forever" Written and Directed by Andrew Lasswell
Description: In an administrative office for researchers in a variety of disciplines, the one with the most experience has the fewest friends, zero. But Dr Simmons has a way to win the others over using her patented remote cognitive stimulation device.
"Spicy Aliens" Written and Directed by AJ Wittman
Description: Two aliens are sent to Earth on a mission to sample human cuisine and they then encounter their quirky southern neighbors.
