Palm Sunday at St. Anne’s Episcopal Church, Lincoln
St. Anne’s celebrates Holy Week beginning with Palm Sunday, April 2, 2023, with a spoken Holy Eucharist from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and a Holy Eucharist with Choir and Palms Procession from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Palm Sunday marks Jesus’ triumphant arrival in Jerusalem. As Jesus rode into the city on a donkey, people praised him and waved palm branches. In our service, we, too, raise our palms and sing “Hosanna!” in a joyful recollection of that first Palm Sunday.
