Pack the Park for Kindness
Pack the Park for Kindness, the first professional sports event built entirely around kindness.
On August 20, the York Revolution will host the High Point Rockers for Pack the Park for Kindness. The game also marks the unofficial national launch of ROKindness, a new platform that lets anyone log an act of kindness and watch it ripple across a live global map.
The event transforms a baseball game into a celebration of kindness, with highlights including:
-Kindness Citations from the York County Sheriff's Office, rewarding fans caught doing good deeds.
-A Proclamation of Kindness from the Mayor of York.
-The first-ever Kindness Worldwide Scholarship, presented by Miss Pennsylvania Stephanie Skinner.
-Family entertainment from Positive Energy Arts, a York nonprofit teaching Kindness to kids through dance.
-Kindness-themed player walk-up songs and music
Last year's inaugural event drew more than 4,000 fans and became one of the York Revolution's biggest games of the season.
