PACIFIC PLACE INVITES THE COMMUNITY TO ITS ‘MERRY & BRIGHT’ HOLIDAY EVENT SERIES

Pacific Place, a premier five-story shopping center in downtown Seattle (www.pacificplaceseattle.com), invites guests and their families to a three-day series of fun-filled events during the week before Christmas. Beginning on Thursday, December 21st, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., families will enjoy a wreath-making activity, holiday caricatures and a visit from Frosty the Snowman. On Friday, December 22nd, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., families will make their own LEGO ornaments, followed by Frosty twisting balloons, and a meet-and-greet with The Grinch. And on Saturday, December 23rd, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., guests will make artistic gift tags, be entertained by a holiday-themed magic show, and enjoy a visit from Santa’s elf. These events are free and open to the public; no pre-registration is required to attend. Craft supplies will be provided (while supplies last). On December 21st and 22nd, attendees are also encouraged to bring new winter clothing to donate to Mary’s Place, a nonprofit organization addressing the basic needs of some of the community’s most vulnerable residents with shelter, food and clean clothes. In addition to the Merry & Bright events, Pacific Place also invites families to take part in its “Be Santa Photo Op” contest where guests can enter to win a $250 gift card to a Pacific Place store or restaurant of their choice. This fun-filled opportunity gives every family member a chance to sit in the Big Guy’s chair and snap a photo. Then, to enter the contest, post it on Instagram along with the hashtag #HolidaysatPacificPlace and a description of how that family member will be Santa this year. This contest runs now through December 31st. Must be 18 or older to enter and win. The winner will be randomly selected and notified via the center’s Instagram page on or after January 2nd.
