Outside Voices at the ADK-GVC Chapter Meeting
The Adirondack Mountain Club-Genesee Valley Chapter's free and open to the public meeting includes:
6:30pm Workshop: Matt Nusstein, a New York State Parks educator, from the Humphrey Nature Center, will visit us to talk about our wonderous Letchworth State Park.
7:30pm Presentation: Touring the Land Down Under by Reinhard Gsellmeier.
We will enjoy learning about Reinhard and his wife Kayanne 18 day adventure s touring the eastern half of the continent of Australia. The focus of the trip was to experience the diverse Australian landscape (everything from a tropical rainforest to an arid desert), see firsthand the diverse and unique wildlife that is Australia, and learn about the culture of Australia and the native Aboriginal people. The trip included some hiking, snorkeling and even some whitewater rafting!
