This is an effort to encourage musicians, from the professional to the hobbyist, to come out to play and bring music to our local community. Led by Gregory Lewis, Organ Monk is primarily known for jazz and blues across a wide variety of their subgenres, and Lewis is especially renowned for specializing in transforming the repertoire of Thelonious Monk for the Hammond organ. We are pleased to announce that our latest record, Organ Monk Going Home (2023), was highlighted in The New York City Jazz Record as a "Best of 2023" and also featured in DownBeat E...
