Opening Reception | Selected works by Misty Keasler
Misty Keasler is an immersive storyteller based in the foothills just outside of Denver, Colorado. Her work has been exhibited internationally and appeared in publications such as Harpers, the London Daily Telegraph, Time, Dwell, Esquire, D Magazine and Texas Monthly among many others. Keasler graduated from Columbia College in Chicago, and received an MFA in Photography from Bard College.
Her first monograph Love Hotels was accompanied by a solo museum show at the Museum of Contemporary Photography Chicago. Her second monograph HAUNT was accompanied by a solo museum show at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Keasler’s work is included in the permanent collections of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, The Amon Carter, the Museum of Fine Art, Houston, the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Art, Japan and the Dallas Museum of Art among others.
