ONE UP! Cut-Throat Storytelling...with CASH!
ONE UP! is a fast, funny storytelling showdown where comedians and brave audience members compete to tell the night’s funniest true story. Hosted by Courtney Boxwell Taback with live music from Daniel Tepper, this isn’t your average storytelling event—there’s no list, no lottery, and definitely no crying at the end. Each storyteller gets five minutes to tell their funniest true tale, then the audience decides who “one ups” whom. March's theme is LUCKY and someone is bringing home the GREEN! The reigning champ holds the Hot Seat, and by the end of the night, the person with the most laughs takes home $300! (Not to mention serious bragging rights.) Expect quick stories, big energy, and plenty of spontaneous chaos. Whether you’re telling a tale or cheering from the crowd, it’s an unforgettable night of humor, competition, and community. ONE UP!
