A Common Thread Theatre Company invites audiences to laugh their way to happily-ever-after with the delightfully offbeat musical comedy Once Upon a Mattress, opening on July 18 at Dennison Memorial Hall in Boston Church Framingham.

In a kingdom ruled by an overbearing queen, no one can marry until Prince Dauntless finds a bride. But every princess is deemed “not quite right”... until a spirited swamp-dweller named Princess Winnifred dives into the castle—literally—and turns the royal court upside down. With toe-tapping songs, outrageous characters, and enough mattresses to make your back ache, Once Upon a Mattress promises a night of big laughs and even bigger heart.
