"On Our Terms" Film Screening
Join the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture for a special screening of "On Our Terms", a new film series grounded in storytelling that highlights how people understand words around decolonization and museums. Join the producers for a live Q&A, roam the galleries, and visit the temporary installation Widen the Frame — an interactive space that invites guests to reflect on their own experiences with museums and the complex positions that museums occupy.
Between video screenings, chat with Burke Staff as they share their work on tribal relations, repatriation, equitable education, and exhibit development. There will be popcorn, drinks, and more!
