Old Town Greenwood in Bloom, Saturday May 30, Old Town Greenwood, Indiana
Old Town In Bloom, a Greenwood community beautification day, will take place Saturday, May 30 from 9-11a.m. in Old Town Greenwood. Some of the beautification projects taking place during Old Town in Bloom are placing brand new planters along Main Street, cleaning-up public spaces throughout Old Town and painting rocks for a planned community rock garden.
Old Town in Bloom will kick off with coffee and donuts provide by Modern Woodmen of America. Volunteers should meet at 8:45 a.m. in the northeast parking lot at the corner of N. Madison Ave.and West Wiley St. Volunteers are asked to register in advance at www.otginc.org/old-town-in-bloom. They will need to bring their own gloves. Bottled water will be provided by Station 19 Firehouse.
The mission of Old Town Greenwood, Inc. is to maintain a vibrant commercial and residential area in Old Town Greenwood by advocating for historic preservation, promoting small business and encouraging community involvement.
