Old Pueblo Playwrights New Play Festival
LIISA ROSE: "Exit Bag"
Family drama explores challenges faced by the “sandwich” generation, multi-generational household dynamics, and the ripple effects of assisted suicide.
Regina Ford directs Gavin MacMurdo (GRIFFIN), Chad Eggen (DAN) John Dadante (LEO), Lauren Rose (MICHAELA), Joe Smith (DR. ANGELO), and Patti Zlaket (CARRIE); Dave Sewell (STAGE DIRECTIONS/FACILITATOR).
Award-winning playwright and journalist Liisa Rose, a UA theatre graduate, is a member of the Southern New Hampshire University faculty.
Director Regina Ford has directed, and acted in, numerous OPP Festival performances and Santa Cruz Shoestring Players Green Valley productions. An accomplished jazz vocalist, she recently retired from a 20-year career in journalism. Back in the day, she worked with Kevin Costner on the Tubac Golf Resort set of “Tin Cup.”

NOTE: Our 2024 Festival is dedicated to the memory of Phil Levere, a well-loved and respected playwright who took up acting, playwriting, and screenwriting after a notable culinary career.
