A current board member of Live Theatre Workshop, Los Angeles native Dave Sewell is a past president of Old Pueblo Playwrights, a founding member of Tucson Theatre Ensemble, and a former board member of Desert Players. He has spent close to 30 years in the Tucson theatre scene as playwright, director, actor, set designer, grant writer, board member, stage tech, and teacher. He holds a degree in theatre (emphasis on directing) from the University of California, Riverside, and has directed nearly 30 stage productions in California and Arizona.
