The event, open to the public, will be held Saturday, April 6th and Sunday, April 7th. The lots, located in Helemano, will offer farmers the chance to own farmland below market prices. Local farmers and want-to-be- farmers will have the opportunity to lease Fee Simple Organic and Non-Organic agricultural lots through a unique leasing opportunity. The leasing program will require a $10,000 refundable deposit per acre (pro-rated), with a pro-rated monthly rent of $600 per acre for a five-year lease term.
