Observational Drawing for Youth
Nurture your young artist’s interest in art with observational drawing (drawing what they see). It is a skill where students will learn to translate pictures and three-dimensional objects into a two-dimensional drawing on paper.
Throughout the class students will learn and apply the fundamentals of art to their drawings which will include shapes, composition, contrast, value. Also, they will learn about highlight and shading all while using graphite pencils.
Class is for ages 9 to 16 and will take place January 12 through February 23 and is taught by Behnaz Ahmadian.
