Set against the backdrop of Revolutionary-era Philadelphia, the story-themed ballet follows two children entrusted with a magical key and the 'Nutcracker' who leads them away from their home. The young adventurers set off on the trip of a lifetime, while meeting such colorful characters as George Washington and Benjamin Franklin.
