Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a hormone disorder that is estimated to affect up to 5 million American women and girls. PCOS can increase the risk of other chronic health conditions, including type 2 diabetes. Diet changes and other lifestyle changes may help to manage PCOS and reduce the risk of developing other chronic health conditions.
Join Virginia Cooperative Extension at Sterling Public Library on Thursday May 15 from 6:00-7:00pm for a free seminar and cooking demonstration to learn more about managing PCOS with diet and lifestyle changes.
This is a FREE event and registration is not required. However, space is limited so please arrive early to ensure that you have seating.
