This Fall, Exec Head Chef Danila Bogdan has created an exciting supper club series at queensyard following different themes through Oct. The first supper club in the series launches on October Friday 4th, following a 'No Waste' theme in partnership with Imperfect Foods, which recently launched in New York City, and Edible Schoolyard NYC.
Imperfect Foods is an online grocer creating a more sustainable and effective food system to better our communities and the environment. The company sources imperfect produce and surplus food directly from farmers, growers and food purveyors.
Edible Schoolyard NYC’s mission is to support edible education for every child in New York City. They partner with New York City public schools to cultivate healthy students and communities through hands-on cooking and gardening education, transforming children’s relationship with food.
queensyard Chef, Danila Bogdan, is working closely with Imperfect Foods to utilize surplus food and create a five-course menu in the restaurant's private dining room for up to twelve guests.
• Tickets are $100 with 50% of the total proceeds going towards Edible Schoolyard NYC's mission. The ticket price includes the five-courses with a welcome drink upon arrival. The evening will start at 6.30pm.
*Please note, this menu may adapt or change, due to the produce that Imperfect Foods can supply. There will be wine pairing suggestions available on the night and this an additional cost.
